This event has passed.
A fun tournament for all interested players.
Come along on either or both nights and join in the open competition. Players at all levels will be most welcome. There will be no charge for the event.
So that the competition can be organised, intending players are asked to sign in no later than 6.40 pm. It is hoped to start Round 1 at 6.50pm.
The format for each night will be
- All players will be given a handicap based upon their player ranking. All game-starting handicaps will be determined by subtracting lowest from highest, The highest ranked player has the lowest handicap and will always be on 0 or a minus points start score. The lowest ranked player always starts on 0 points
- All players have a player number which will be used to determine the opponent to be played from a random draw.
- The competition will consist of 3 game rounds and 1 finals round, with every player playing one game in each round against a different random selected opponent in each game.
- The game structure will be a timed event of 10 minutes continuous play, alternate serves after each point, final game points score added to each players total for the 3 rounds.
- Finals will be determined by the total number of points each player has won after Round 3.
- All players are asked to assist with umpiring and scoring when not playing.
